CLOSED – NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION: MUSCOGEE (CREEK) NATION NATURAL RESOURCE CONSERVATION COMMISSION

Until the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Natural Resource Conservation Commission (MCNNRCC) receives a qualified restricted landowner list from MCN Realty, Chairman Edward F. Mouss has proposed to proceed with an election of Commissioner B and Commissioner C, so as to proceed with business matters of the Commission, on July 19, 2017.

All verified restricted landowners in attendance will be allowed to vote.

The Chairman will recommend Mr. Robert Davis and Mrs. Robin Jenkins for re-election of four (4) year terms. Commissioner B will serve a four (4) year term which will expire April 9, 2020. Commissioner C will serve a four (4) year term which will expire May 28, 2021.

The Chairman will describe the general duties of the Commission and the duties of each seat. Nominations will be taken from the floor. A standing vote will be the process to which each verified restricted landowner elector will cast their vote.

The vote counters will be Julie Norem and Gerald Hart. The special election will be located at the College of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, July 19, 2017, 11:30 AM.

Any appeal to the election will need to be made through Tribal Court. Only verified electors will be allowed to make an appeal within ten (10) days of July 19, 2017.

Future elections will be held according to the Oklahoma Conservation Commission Election of District Directors, Chapter 3 page 6.
