Several sources across the Internet say that the Muscogee (Creek) Nation is calling for the Poarch Band Of Creek Indians to cease their endeavour to extend the size of their casino in Wetumpka, Alabama. Most of the media reports are coming out of Alabama. Some of the media sources are referring to the Muscogee (Creek) Nation as a \”band\” of Creeks or as the \”Muscogee Nation of Creeks.\”
According to www.montgomeryadvertiser.com , Principal Chief George Tiger released a statement saying, “The Muscogee (Creek) Nation is committed to protecting the burial and ceremonial grounds of our ancestors.” Tiger went on to say that, “We have attempted to convey to the Poarch Band why it is wrong to disturb the peace of our ancestors and burial grounds. However, the Poarch Band does not seem to share our cultural values and respect our traditional ways.”
According to the Montgomery Advertiser, Oce Vpofa Mekko George Thompson stated, \”Our ancestors and their burial objects, and our cultural items need to be returned where they were taken from, and the whole place needs to go back to nature.\” Hickory Ground is also the tribal town of Principal Chief George Tiger.

The Poarch Band/”conastee” are finally being exposed for who they really are! They have greatly wronged other Alabama tribes by using their stooges at the Alabama Indian Affairs Commission ( AIAC ) to deny state recognition to any other tribe to protect their gambling monopoly. Only 2 tribes have been “recognized” by the AIAC since it’s creation by legislative act in 1984! The “Poarch/conastee terror” is ending! Creator bless! Keep the faith.
